Academics
NCAA Core Classes
Meet with your scheduling councilor and make sure you are on track to complete the 16 core classes required.
GPA
Aim for a 3.0 or higher. Div 1 requires a 2.3 or higher, Div 2 requires 2.2 or higher. Div 3 is set by each college. NAIA schools require a 2.3, BUT THESE ARE MINIMUMS! Aim higher!

Prep and Exposure
- Film a few highlights from the season/year. Keep this video 30 seconds to 1 minute long. Coaches will not sit and watch 5 minute videos. Put the best plays first.
- Save clips to Hudl, Youtube, Twitter etc. Keep them simple. Bio of each site should be short and informative. Player name, height, position, class.
- Keep all social media clean. Best way is to only include sport specific content.
- Follow some of your dream schools. Even ones in your area you may not have high interest in at the moment.
- Take measurements periodically. Height, weight, vertical, strength etc
- Attend a college skills camp. Keep lists of all camps and combines you've attended.
